IXIASOFT Releases Milestone Product: IXIASOFT CCMS 6.0

A new version focusing primarily on web tools for tech writers
IXIASOFT, a MadCap Software company, has today released the latest version of its component content management software—IXIASOFT CCMS 6.0. This is a big milestone for IXIASOFT. It marks the first version that focuses primarily on web tools for DITA experts, like technical writers.
In addition to providing an all-new user experience, IXIASOFT CCMS 6.0 introduces features essential for authors and technical writers: search, unrestrained map, topic, and image editing, and new simple dialogs for easy content reuse.
“Version 6.0 represents a major step forward for IXIASOFT,” says VP Product/ Solutions Architect Jean-Francois Ameye. “At the end of this cycle, technical writers will be able to work solely on the web platform, with the same level of functionality as in the desktop client, in a nicer and simpler user interface.”
In confluence with the release of CCMS 6.0, IXIASOFT is gearing up for its 6th user conference: CCMS Link 2019. The conference will take place from September 25-27 at Hôtel Le Crystal in Montreal. CCMS Link provides an opportunity for IXIASOFT customers, partners, and friends to learn, share, and link with experts in techcomm about the latest trends and hot topics. Many of the presentations will focus on IXIASOFT CCMS 6.0.
