Neudesic And MadCap Join Forces to Help Companies Expand Their Enterprise Social Strategy

MadCap Software, Inc. and Neudesic have released MadCap Pulse, a documentation-centric social collaboration platform developed in partnership by the two companies.

La Jolla, CA, USA March 5, 2013 — Pulse is Neudesic’s innovative enterprise social collaboration platform. MadCap Software is the leader in multi-channel content authoring and a showcase company for Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Visual Studio and Microsoft XPS.

The MadCap-optimized version of Pulse plugs into MadCap Flare, MadCap’s flagship software for multi-channel, single-source publishing. Together, MadCap Pulse and MadCap Flare give authors the ability to deliver socially enabled online documentation that allows users to connect, collaborate and share knowledge with others.

MadCap Pulse for Socially Enabled Online Content

MadCap Pulse is the MadCap-optimized version of recently launched Neudesic Pulse 3. The social platform combines capabilities that enable people-driven collaboration, dynamic knowledge sharing, the creation of public and private groups, and task management that enhances team performance.

Like MadCap Flare, Pulse facilitates collaboration through support for Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365. MadCap Pulse pricing for 10 advanced users (employees) and 500 basic users (customers), including all upgrades and unlimited email support, starts at $1,500 for a 6-month subscription, or $2,400 for 12 months.
