Follow the instructions below to download and install MadCap Lingo.
Use your license key to activate Lingo. Until activated, Lingo runs in trial mode.
Lingo runs in trial mode. The trial is limited to a 30-day evaluation period and cannot be used for production work.
Note: While in trial mode, Lingo will scramble the content when projects are exported to any of the supported file formats.
Upon purchase and activation of Lingo, the limitations are removed and the projects created during the evaluation period may be published for production use.
This version of MadCap Lingo installs in place of previous versions of MadCap Lingo 11. It can be installed side-by-side with MadCap Lingo installations version 10 and below, with no conflicts. This allows authors with MadCap Lingo version 10 and below, for example, to continue working on existing projects in an earlier version while trying out new projects in the latest version of Lingo. For projects created with MadCap Lingo version 7 or older, a project upgrade will be required to open the project in the latest version. The upgraded project will no longer be compatible with the older Lingo versions. We recommend choosing to make a backup copy of the project in case of a need to revert back to the original project.
