Follow the instructions below to download and install MadCap Lingo.
Use your license key to activate Lingo. Until activated, Lingo runs in trial mode.
Lingo runs in trial mode. The trial is limited to a 30-day evaluation period and cannot be used for production work.
Note: While in trial mode, Lingo will scramble the content when projects are exported to any of the supported file formats.
Upon purchase and activation of Lingo, the limitations are removed and the projects created during the evaluation period may be published for production use.

The .NET Framework from Microsoft must be installed prior to installing MadCap Lingo.
This step is not required if you are running Windows Vista.

Microsoft SQL Server Express is not required to run MadCap Lingo. However, without it, users will not be able to create or connect to a server-based Translation Memory.
