In addition, Ellis was a contributor to two books: Current Practices and Trends in Technical Communication, and The Language of Technical Communication.

As a non-developer, how can you create REST API documentation in MadCap Flare? In this presentation, Ellis Pratt will cover what developers want from an API documentation website, and how to create API documentation in Flare. In addition, he’ll share how an API specification (Swagger) file can reduce your writing workload, and demonstrate the different ways API reference documentation can be generated from a Swagger file and imported to Flare to create an API documentation portal. After this session, you’ll be able to make an informed decision on how much effort is needed for each approach.
