Advanced Skinless HTML5 Design with MadCap Flare

Track 4 MadCap Flare HTML5 CSS

In this session, Scott DeLoach will demonstrate how to design and develop skinless HTML5 Top Nav targets. We will examine skinless HTML5 designs, discuss best practices for skins and skinless designs, and explore advanced design options when using skinless HTML5 Top Nav targets. All attendees will receive a sample project that includes the demonstrated techniques and sample designs. Note: This is an advanced session. Attendees should be familiar with creating HTML5 Top Nav targets and have intermediate/advanced knowledge of CSS.

Track 4 MadCap Flare CSS

In this session, Scott DeLoach will demonstrate expert-level CSS techniques, including how to use future CSS features today. We will discuss what’s being developed in the latest CSS recommendations, what works now, and tricks that can be used to make next-level CSS work in MadCap Flare and in today’s browsers. All attendees will receive a sample project that includes the demonstrated techniques. Note: This is an advanced session. Attendees should be familiar with creating HTML5 Top Nav targets and have intermediate/advanced knowledge of CSS.

MAD for MadCap Flare Certification Bootcamp Part 1

Track 1 Advanced Training

Who should be certified MAD for MadCap Flare? YOU! The MadCap Advanced Developer (MAD) Certification Program recognizes and validates your ability to use MadCap Flare. A certification proves to your manager, potential clients, and coworkers that you’re a Flare expert. It’s also required to be included in MadCap Software’s list of recommended consultants. In this workshop, you’ll learn what’s required to be certified MAD for Flare and everything you need to know to pass the exam. We’ll share sample questions, tips for preparing your sample project, and we’ll even give you a chance to take a free sample exam. If you’ve attended a Flare class and have experience using Flare, we’ll give you everything you need to become certified as quickly and efficiently as possible. Workshop Prerequisites: Completion of the MadCap Flare Basic/Intermediate certified training course and/or proficiency using MadCap Flare for a minimum of three months.
