From Drab to Fab

How to Create Engaging Technical Content utilizing strong instructional design theories and putting them into practice. Writing technical content is a balance between including enough information, at the right time, in the right way, to keep our learners engaged.

The goal is to write content to make learners retain information and feel confident. It is hard to break outside of writing how we want to read or explain things, and instead think of how learners engage with written material. In this session we will discuss methods of writing effective objectives and demonstrate application of objectives to three Instructional Design theories that will keep learners engaged.
