When Does It Make Sense To Consider DITA
Topic-based, single-sourced content is an incredibly flexible way to create, manage and publish content. Flare is a great option for combining the flexibility of this approach with the convenience of a desktop application. But sometimes you need more.
A CCMS can be a big investment, not just for the tools required, but also the time required. However, a well-designed and well-configured DITA CCMS can simplify technical communication processes and enable significant scalability. Combined, these deliver significant benefits to an organisation such as improved cross-functional and inter-company collaboration, simplified multi-lingual localization, smooth content publishing, and quicker time to market.
So the question is when does it make sense to consider a DITA CCMS?
