With MadCap Flare, courseware developers have the power to create and reuse learning content more intelligently, and can easily deliver modern interactive eLearning and print-based course materials all from a single source. If you're current eLearning assets cannot be snapped together and reused as easily as Lego bricks, then you are working too hard! Learn how instructional designers and training professionals across an organization can now collaborate on creating and delivering modern interactive eLearning and print-based course materials all from a single source.

Tuesday

Track 34:20 - 5:20

Up Your Snippet Game!

Long-time MadCap Flare users already know that Snippets are a powerful tool for content that needs to appear in multiple locations (notes, tips, warnings, etc.). However, with a little creativity, Snippets can be combined with other MadCap Flare techniques to multiply their usefulness. If you have a good handle on the use of Variables and Conditions, but Snippet Variables and Snippet Conditions seem like dark arts, this session will not only help to explain the differences and use cases, but share techniques to get the most out of this powerful Flare capability.

Wednesday

Advanced Workshop 14:00 - 5:30

Search Engine Optimization for HTML5

For many Search Engine Optimization (or SEO) is a dark art akin to alchemy or voodoo. There are several techniques that you can use in your MadCap Flare topics, templates, and projects to improve your SEO. In this workshop we will be using one of the stock Flare Project templates included with Flare and we will go through the process of optimizing it for SEO purposes. We will be looking at keywords, metadata, micro content, search engine enrollment, and more. Some of these techniques may look familiar, however be prepared for some new items being shown at MadWorld for the first time.
