Monday

Track 23:00 - 3:55

Integrating FontAwesome Into Your MadCap Flare Project

FontAwesome opens up new and exciting ways to incorporate icons into your Flare project in a lightweight way--without having to create and maintain new image files! Not only that, but FontAwesome includes a variety of ways in which you can customize icons using just CSS. During this session, we'll be hands-on as we walk through all the steps to get FontAwesome up-and-running in your Flare project. We'll add FontAwesome icons as background images to landing page tiles, use the icons as part of headings, and even reference them from a stylesheet to make unique unordered lists.

Tuesday

Track 44:20 - 5:20

Real-world Scenarios for Using the MadCap Flare Markdown Importer

Being able to import markdown documents into Flare opens up entirely new avenues for you to harvest contributions from content contributors in your organization. If you work in software development, allowing your SMEs to contribute in markdown will likely come as a breath of fresh air! In this session, we'll cover the basics of markdown itself, talk about some markdown editors available to you, and then dive into how to integrate markdown with Flare. At the end of this session, you'll have a powerful new tool in your toolbelt to help build a community of contributors in your organization.
