Senior Accountant

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.  This position also includes collections, customer inquiries, and following up on requests. The Sr, Accountant will report to the Manager, Accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the general ledger, performs general cost accounting, and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Manage Sales Tax reconciliations and reporting.
• Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
• Reconcile ecommerce transactions daily and partner with IT to improve automation.
• Research and resolve customer requests.
• Assist with sales order processing, invoicing, and partner with Sales/Customer Success teams to ensure accurate data imports.
• Process commission calculations and reporting.
• Manage deferred revenue process, reporting, and entries to ensure ASC606 compliance.
• Assist with software automation projects, system mapping, and other process improvements.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.Desired Skills and Experience

• 45-7+ years of accounting experience required.
• Strong software skills (NetSuite/SuiteBilling experience highly preferred)
• Multi-Entity Accounting experience
• Experience working in SaaS
• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
• Comfortable building and improving processes
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
