What's New in MadCap Flare Online
This release introduces a new name and look for MadCap Central. It is now called Flare Online. This is largely due to the fact that Central has grown so much in its authoring capabilities over recent years to the point where it can now handle the most essential single-sourcing technical authoring tasks that are found in legacy Flare, which we now refer to as Flare Desktop. Please note that many videos still exist, and will continue to exist, using the older Central name.
Also, this release allows two or more authors to engage in collaborative authoring of content files. That is, authors can see what others are doing in the same files in real-time. This helps streamline the authoring process and limit any conflicts that can occur between authors.
