Marketing Automation Manager

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Marketing Automation Manager who lives and breathes HubSpot to lead the optimization, automation, and performance tracking of our marketing programs. This role is central to helping our marketing and sales teams operate at scale—ensuring our tech stack is efficient, our data is clean, and our campaigns are measurable. You’ll own HubSpot as a power user, supporting everything from lead lifecycle tracking to campaign analytics and reporting. This position report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and administer HubSpot Marketing Hub: manage workflows, automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and reporting
  • Build and optimize HubSpot workflows to support nurture campaigns, email programs, ABM efforts, and lifecycle stages —driving higher engagement and conversion rate
  • Build and maintain dynamic list segmentation strategies to ensure the right audiences receive the right content at the right time, improving email performance, campaign reach, and pipeline impact
  • Ensure seamless integration between HubSpot and Salesforce (and any other connected tools) to maintain data integrity and lead handoff
  • Support campaign execution by building emails, landing pages, forms, and automation within HubSpot
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance across the funnel—MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, and ROI
  • Enforce database hygiene and contact governance, including GDPR/CAN-SPAM compliance and contact deduplication
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and Demand Gen to ensure alignment on definitions, KPIs, and lead flow
  • Troubleshoot issues in HubSpot and continuously seek improvements to drive efficiency and scale
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, with deep expertise in HubSpot Marketing Hub
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., Marketing Software, Reporting, Revenue Operations)
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle, MQL definitions, lead scoring, and campaign performance metrics
  • Experience with HubSpot-Salesforce sync and data management best practices
  • Ability to translate campaign goals into effective automation and reporting in HubSpot
  • Familiarity with ABM tools, intent data platforms, and other martech (e.g., Bombora, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Ads) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting a B2B SaaS sales cycle
  • 2+ years working in a Hubspot Agency environment
  • Understanding of multi-touch attribution and funnel analysis
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Wistia, or webinar platforms

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 + annual bonus
