Enterprise Account Executive

Position Summary
MadCap is looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to join our expanding team and lead the growth of our IXIA CCMS platform. This role is focused on acquiring new enterprise logos and expanding strategic accounts—with the support of a world-class solutions architecture, marketing, and customer success team behind you.
As a key revenue driver, you'll leverage your expertise in complex solution selling and relationship management to engage technical buyers, IT teams, and compliance driven stakeholders alike. Experience selling into regulated industries or working with part of a product-led growth engine that’s infusing AI into its DNA, trusted by Fortune 1000 companies across aerospace, life sciences, finance, and beyond. Some of the biggest brands in the world depend on our solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers within enterprise accounts.
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through new logo acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Sell into complex enterprise organizations using a value-based, consultative, and solutions-selling sales methodology. Experience using the MEDDICC methodology and framework is a plus.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, supporting and quarterbacking the entire sales process with your solutions architects, marketing, customer success and professional services teams.
- Demonstrate and articulate the value of the IXIA platform through deep dive discovery calls, professional presentations, demos, and technical validation sessions.
- Collaborate with customer success and product teams to drive long-term customer adoption and account growth.
- Follow sales processes, communicate, and maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using the organization's Salesforce and other sales tools. Experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong is a plus.
- Contribute feedback to product marketing and development teams based on market trends and customer needs.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software sales experience, with a strong preference for SaaS.
- Track record of overachieving against quota ($1M+ of ARR)
- Proven ability to close 6-figure and multi-year enterprise deals.
- Experience selling to enterprise organizations with multiple stakeholders and longer complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise content platforms and structured documentation processes; is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished presentation style.
- Team-oriented mindset with experience in multi-threaded, team-based selling environments.

Salary Range: $240K OTE
