Luciana Alvear Voigt is a Knowledge Management Coordinator at Senior Sistemas, where she is responsible for content strategy definition and management of Senior’s Documentation and Legal Requirements Portals. She currently manages the Senior Sistema’s team of bilingual technical writers, responsible for maintaining online help, business process manuals, implementation methodology documentation and communication channels, as well as Bots, user manuals, and training materials for five products. Knowledge Management for Bots using MadCap Flare

eSocial is part of the Brazilian Public System for keeping integrated records among fiscal, social security and labor obligations. Its main purpose is to formalize this information through digital means, relative to all of the country`s employees, public or private. This represents an enormous challenge for Brazilian employers due to the many changes in bookkeeping records that this new law established. Senior Sistemas is responsible for processing 6 million payrolls, which comprises of around 20% of Brazil’s total payrolls. Learn how the team build the eSocial knowledge base with MadCap Flare to overcome the challenge of increased customer tickets, and how they indexed these documents as a resource for SARA (Senior Automated and Responsive Agent), their Bot developed with IBM Watson.

System Internationalization with MadCap Flare, MadCap Lingo and MadCap Capture Integration

Sometimes a project starts out as something small, but then it grows at an imposing rate. Such is the case of Senior's Human Capital Management solution, the company's biggest product, which was rebuilt from the ground up along with its documentation to become more streamlined, match newer software development methodologies and with an internationalization strategy in mind. Bigger projects are harder to manage, and with translation and image-editing added, the process may become more difficult to work with and keep under control. In this session, Luciana Voigt will show the work behind the internationalization of this solution and its user manual; a process which uses MadCap Flare, MadCap Lingo and MadCap Capture to provide robust content in three different languages. You’ll understand the basic integration between these three MadCap products and how to consistently develop and maintain documentation projects using them in an Agile development method.
