We are looking for a dynamic and disciplined (Junior) Web Developer to support our Web Development Team within our Marketing Department with duties including the coding of HTML-based emails, maintaining regular website updates such as the creation of new web pages and landing pages, as well as supporting longer-term projects including a major responsive website re-design.

The position involves working with the .NET framework using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code on a variety of website and email-related tasks. Git is used for version control and sites are published to Azure. A collection of task automation tools built with Node.js is used to speed development. Some of the front end tools are frameworks used include gulp, SASS, SMACSS, TypeScript and Angular.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement HTML emails
  • Webpage updates and additions, including landing pages and forms
  • SEO updates

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years front end web development experience
  • Strong ability to prioritize, track and complete tasks
  • Strong ability to work within a cross-functional team
  • Strong knowledge of HTML email development
  • Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Ability to create responsive webpages
  • Ability to create and use pattern libraries, similar to Fractal
  • Ability to use Git clients, such as SourceTree
  • Ability to use task automation tools, such as Gulp
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of SEO
  • Working knowledge of web performance
  • Working knowledge of web security
