Sales Account Manager

These candidates should possess outstanding skills and experience in account management and prospecting for new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for new business as it relates to: lead conversion, prospecting, outbound calls/emails, responding to inbound inquiries, prospect qualification, proposal/quote generation, closing sales, and setting up meetings/product demonstrations with customers. While our marketing and lead development teams have a well-established process of generating sales prospects for our products and services, the Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing additional prospects to grow their assigned territory.

You will be responsible for an individual sales quota for your assigned territory with commissions paid monthly.

Candidates must possess the following competencies:

  • Sales experience in a technology business-to-business environment; software sales experience preferred
  • Outstanding sales process management, prospecting and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance in a high volume sales environment
  • Energetic, flexible and desire to work in a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to effectively manage large numbers of sales prospects
  • Experience with a CRM and lead management system, preferably Salesforce
  • Outstanding professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Experience:

  • 2-5+ years of technology inside or outside sales experience. Experience in B2B software sales is a plus.

Education:

  • BS/BA degree preferred
