Position Summary

The ideal candidate should have enough experience in indirect channel management to develop an indirect channel from start to finish. The Partner Account Manager will have a solid understanding of all aspects of the indirect sales channel in a SaaS environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage productive relationships between MadCap and its indirect channel partners
  • Work to increase channel partner sales and mindshare of MadCap Software products
  • Establish yourself as the point person for partner requests and inquiries
  • Manage partner compensation in the form of discounts and/or commissions and SPIFs
  • Assist MadCap executive team with the management of partner agreements
  • Develop and drive a partner QBR program
  • Establish internal weekly calls with MadCap executive team to report and discuss partner sales activity
  • Collaborate with other MadCap teams to develop and maintain a partner enablement program including product training and marketing support
  • Manage an online partner portal containing info about products, pricing, and promotions
  • Maintain an optimal portfolio of value-adding partners, including partner acquisition and termination
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with owners and executives within the software partner community
  • Managing projects and processes to drive change in an established business environment
  • Energetic, flexible, and desire to work in a fast-paced organization without a great deal of structure and supervision
  • Outstanding professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3 year proven track record of managing reseller partners in the software industry
  • Experience finding and signing new value-adding partners
  • BS/BA degree required

Language Skills:

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in English language required
  • Professional image, work ethics, and integrity
  • Strong customer service approach required
