Human Resource Business Partner

The Human Resource Business Partner will possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, high energy, the ability to work without a great deal of structure and supervision, and the desire to succeed. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.


Human Resources

  • Provide day-to-day “hands-on” support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource related activities which may include: recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, communication and understanding policies and procedures
  • Create, implement and manage recruitment processes and procedures to ensure organizational goals and timelines are met
  • Coordinate the performance review process, including administration of evaluation forms, preparation of spreadsheets, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with various HR regulations
  • Conduct and prepare various salary and other compensation analysis
  • Conduct regular benefit reviews
  • Liaise with third party PEO teams as required
  • Lead all efforts surrounding the annual workplace survey
  • Create an office environment with high moral and motivation through innovative and current positive office trends
  • Create content and work with marketing department on monthly internal newsletter
  • Organize and execute various Company events including: interdepartmental team building activities and semi-annual Holiday parties

Office Management

  • Liaison between employees and property management company regarding office needs
  • Purchase office supplies for San Diego office
  • Other Facility needs as required

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience; background in a technology company preferred
  • Compassionate, caring individual that can establish rapport quickly
  • Ability to read and understand people
  • Strong presentation, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
