Position Summary

The Creative Manager will have an open line of communication with different departments, working closely with the direct sales team, technical support, and product management. As a Creative Manager, you will be responsible for developing solutions that drive clear, informative, consistent communication, bring strategic approaches to crafting cohesive, multi-channel creative concepts, and ensure high standards for visual creative output while reporting to the VP of Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide design direction, guidance, training, instruction and/or mentoring to other team members as well as other personnel on design related issues
  • Work directly with upper management and able to lead and create from concept through final product
  • Understands the connection between words and images, diligently connects the two strategically in all work
  • Incredible eye for detail, proactive and forward thinking
  • Excellent in design execution, ability to seed ideas and variations based on agreed creative direction
  • Timely execution of all creative assets
  • Foster a supportive team environment that actively seeks feedback and new ideas
  • Able to think across media and activate the brand globally
  • Takes a leadership role in establishing and maintaining a global visual identity
  • Development and execution of all brand and product launch assets
  • Actively partners with Marketing & Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure that all work is consistently executed across all communication and sales channels
  • Create aesthetically excellent work that is true to the MadCap Software brand
  • Manage a large amount of work and various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage projects with minimal support
  • Communicate design strategies and ideas by using wireframes, storyboards, and mockups

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of MadCap tools and self-motivation to continue to learn existing and future technology developed by MadCap Software.
  • Be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of our organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Ability to travel as required
