tekomMadCap Software traveled to Germany last week for the tekom/tcworld conference 2013, the biggest conference on the planet dedicated to technical authoring and publishing.

Actually, to call this event “big” is quite the understatement! This year, roughly 4000 people descended upon the city of Wiesbaden to attend educational sessions, check out vendor booths and network with others in the Technical Communications field.

The MadCap Software booth was packed with people who wanted to check out our products as well as long-time users who wanted to see what’s new.

VP of Product Evangelism Mike Hamilton presented a session called “Publishing to Mobile Devices: Best Practices and Strategies” to a standing-room-only crowd. You can download his slide deck here.

My session, “Social Media and Your Documentation: Why Should You Care?” had a great turnout as well. The slide deck is available here.

Lots of big names in the world of technical communications stopped by our booth, including Kai Weber and Ellis Pratt, who will both be speaking at MadWorld 2014.

Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make tekom/tcworld 2013 a success. The conference moves to Stuttgart, Germany next year and we hope to see you there!
