flare9 1 2The latest update for Flare 9.1.1 users is now available and includes the following enhancements:

• Support for Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 for viewing WebHelp and HTML5 locally

• Support for Chrome 30.x viewing WebHelp and HTML5 locally

• FrameMaker import preserving linked image names


If you have not already updated to this latest version (9.1.2) through the application by checking for updates in the Help>About, or you are unable to update to this version through the application itself, please follow the instructions below to install Flare 9.1.2.

Click the following link to download the latest update of Flare (9.1.2):

  1. Click the link above and save the download to your local machine.
  2. Double-click the .exe file you downloaded. This launches the installer.
  3. Follow the instructions in the installer.
  4. After the installation is completed, launch Flare and click Help > About to verify you are now using Flare 9.1.2.

    Does an upgrade to 9.1.2 from 9.1.1 require a computer reboot?
