How Does it Work?
- Create the Help — Author a project in Flare and create desired Help output(s).
- Implement Feedback — Install Feedback on you company web server or choose MadCap's hosted service.
- Output with Feedback — Within Flare, choose to include Feedback Web 2.0 features in your target output(s).
- Users Submit Feedback — Users viewing your content can now rate and comment on quality and usefulness of a topic.
- Analyze Results — View search activity, user comments and ratings.
- Improve Help Content — Add search synonyms, edit and add new content based on user feedback.

We use Flare with Feedback server for our Technical Support Knowledge Base. Please open
our knowledge base and notice the topic ratings (stars near the TOC) and comments at the
bottom of the page.

maintenance by having MadCap Software do the hosting for you. Use the Feedback
Explorer to see and track all reader activity using a user friendly interface.
The Feedback Service works with both Web-based and desktop Help formats. (MadCap
hosts only feedback data, not your output files)
