MadCap Flare 1.1.2 Download
Please follow the instructions below to download and install MadCap Flare 1.1.2.
If you have purchased a license, please use the license key you were provided to fully activate Flare
once installation is complete. Until you use your license key to activate your Flare download it will
only run in trial mode.
Updating from Flare 1.0: If you have previously activated Flare 1.x, your activation will be
automatically transferred. You will not need to activate again.
Without a license key, the download below is limited to a 30 day evaluation period and you may not
use Flare for production use. To ensure this, Flare does not allow command-line compiling and marks
its outputs with random characters.
Upon purchase and activation of Flare, the above limitations are
removed and the projects created during the evaluation period may be published for production use.
Please follow the steps below in the exact sequence listed. The .NET Framework must be installed first,
followed by the Flare application.
NOTE: The Flare installation process will ask for a valid email
address to which an authorization email will be sent. We have found that
in a few rare cases this authorization email is sent to a spam or bulk
mail folder (typical of Yahoo addresses).
