Sales Account Manager

MadCap Software, Inc. is the leading software provider of technical communication tools for thousands of customers including Microsoft, Google and HP. We are currently seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team. Type “A” players need only apply.
Requirements:
- Solicit and close business new business within the assigned territory
- Pro-active telephone calling to prospective accounts/contacts
- Timely follow up on all leads
- Increase dollar value of each order placed with up-sale opportunities
- Maintain and improve Company relationships with existing clients
- Meeting and exceeding all monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets is not a goal, itÂ’s an expectation
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of successful sales experience, with a background in software sales preferred
- Strong territory management skills / Hunters preferred
- History of quota achievement
- Experience in a heavy outbound phone environment desired
